The Obowo born Legal Practitioner who is the Lead Partner  of LEEDS LEGAL and Senior Legislative  Assistant to the Honorable Member Representing Obowo State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Barr Kelechi Onyegbule has offered  a blanket FREE JAMB REGISTRATION for all intending law students from Obowo Local Government Area.

The Trailblazing Legal Practitioner decried the lack of Judges, Senior Advocates of Nigeria, and Senior Members of the Bench in the State and Federal Judiciary from Obowo extraction attributed the cause to lack of preparedness and strategic planning, not only for the people of Obowo but for Ndi Igbo as a people. He posited that children who are encouraged and supported to achieve their dreams of becoming Lawyers in their early twenties would stand better chances to grow to the apogee of their careers in the nearest future.

Barr. Kelechi Onyegbule reckoned that Obowo has produced professionals who have hit the zenith of their careers in Obowo some of whom are Prof Ndu Eke, Former Chief Medical Director of FMC Owerri, Engr. Uzoma iG Nwokorie, the Head of Startup and Commissioning of Shell Petroleum the whole of Africa, Professor BEB Nwoke, Former Vice Chancellor of Imu Rtate University etc but yet to record Lawyers who have broken even to reach the peak of their careers. He further urged the privileged sons and daughters of Obowo in the corridors of power to offer strong and convincing debate in favour of this course and negotiate for inclusion of qualified Legal Practioners from Obowo in the sensitive appointments in the State Judiciary and Federal Judiciary. For him, to achieve this, we have to be strategic  and systemic in our planning. He expressed strong hopes that the beneficiaries of this project will emerge tomorrow as Magistrates, Judges, Senior Advocates, Solicitors General, Professors of Law and Senior Lawyer heading sensitive positions of authority.

This is truly a welcome development and a proactive future investment for the betterment of Obowo.
