This year we are committed to changing the economic landscape of Imo state.At the official Unveiling of Arise Afrika at Rock View Hotels Owerri, we had a think-thank session after which we proffered Remedies to tackle Nigeria out of Economic Recession.
One of our 20 point agenda is to embark upon Massive Training of Youths on different Skills.
In keeping to our commitment to educate, equip and empower Imolites we have organized, hosted and are facilitators to various seminars, training, workshops from last year till date.
On Sat 4thMarch Mr Ik Anyanwu of Arise Afrika charged Imolites to put an end to the quest for white collar jobs and seek for ways of leveraging on their entrepreneur skills. Many people were equipped with different skills to help them stand in this failing economy and also solve the problem of unemployment. Participation at the event was free.

Speaking further, The Rep of All Africa Media Networks in Nigeria and Publisher Arise AfrikaMr. Ikechukwu Anyanwusaid this is not a one off thing. This year he will be partnering with other willing civic Society groups, government agencies to continue training unemployed Nigerians in various entrepreneurship skills.

Mr Anyanwusaid the gesture was to enable the unemployed graduates acquire the necessary skills that would help them in life and also assist them set up their own business.
We will help inculcate entrepreneurial skills in some Nigerian youths through our learning initiatives for entrepreneurs and free skill acquisition programmes.
According to him, the programme is aimed at creating critical mass human resources with entrepreneurial skills and the right attitude to combat unemployment.
We hope to set up different training centers, help young people establish their own business while those who are already gainfully employed are taught how to open up other multi-streams of income while on their jobs.
“poverty and inequality levels remain unacceptably high and one of the reasons for this is the challenge of creating the right jobs for a rapidly growing youth population”
He said that the body would also collaborate with philanthropic organizations that had indicated interest to support the programme, adding that this would enable the organization reach out to more people.You should watch out for more of this seminar/Training workshops
