The remains of Ezinne Bernice Njoku (nee Ada Anyanwu) mother of wife of Former SGI Sir Jude Ejiogu was Friday 18, Jan 2018 interned at Umunakanu Owerre in Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State.
The funeral mass attracted service attracted several dignitaries from National/Sate Assembly, the clergy, traditional rulers and associates across the political party divide.
Sympathisers from across political, social, business and professional spectra all thronged to the emotional Funeral Mass which held at St. Theresa\’s Catholic Church, Umunakanu Owerre, Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State
Interment followed immediately after service.
In an emotional post on his facebook handle after the event, the amiable Sir Jude Ejiogu said \”Yesterday, my dear mother-in-law Ezinne Bernice Njoku (nee Anyanwu) was laid to rest.
Mama lived a very fulfilled life and yesterday wasn\’t a time to cry but a time to thank God Almighty for a life well spent and to pray that her soul after it\’s sojourn here in earth finds rest in the bosom of Christ Jesus our Savior.
I appreciate everybody who found time to join my entire family to bid Mama farewell most especially but not limited to the Wife of the Executive Governor of Imo State Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha who joined us on behalf of her entire family, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Imo State Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the senator representing Owerri senatorial zone Sen Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ugonna Ozuigbo Ozb, the Chief Judge of Imo State Hon Justice P.O. Nnadi, Hon Dcn Chike Okafor who represents Okigwe South in the Green chamber and his wife Mrs Akudo Okafor, Chief Willie Amadi, my dear brother the Executive Director of NSITF Hon Jasper Azuatalam, Dr. Obinna Mbata, Hon. Obinna Okwara, my good friends and brothers Chinedu Asinu-Anosike CONA and Charles Onu amongst so many other people too numerous to mention. I love and appreciate you all.
Mama Bernice, you have transcended to higher grounds where you await for that glorious day when we meet to part no more. Rest in peace in the Lord

1. Eight (8) Children
2. Two (2) Brothers and Two (2) Sisters
3. Twenty Seven (27) Grand Children, and seven (7) Great-Grand Children
4. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Daughters-in-Law and Sons-in-Law
