A Frontline Governorship aspirant and leader of the Imo Nkeanyi Movement, Dr Linus Okorie was on Saturday 7th April endorsed by over 16 Ndi Ezes from all the autonomous communities in Oguta LGA.
The Leadership coach, President of Guardians of The Nations International received overwhelming support from his people, assuring him of their unwavering support come 2019.
The endorsement took place at the palace of HRH Eze Franklin Cajethan Okafor, the paramount ruler of Osse Motor Kingdom, Oguta. All the traditional leaders were all present.
Assuring him of their unalloyed support, the spokesman for the traditional rulers said to him, \”If God says you would be the Governor of Imo State come 2019, no man can stop it. The Ezes of Oguta LGA are saying to you Linus, \’Go ahead in your quest, do not be afraid. No man can stop what God has destined for you.\’\”
It is now clear that the people are clamouring for a paradigm shift. His acceptance by majority of the people of Imolities keeps soaring daily. Firstly, it was among the teeming youths, now the elders and traditional rulers have joined in clamouring for this renowned leader.
In his response, Dr. Linus Okorie thanked all the royal fathers for finding time to host their son. He informed them that he is running for Governor. According to the leader of Imo Nkeanyi Movement, Imo State belongs to all of us. He said, \”For the fist time in the history of Oguta. you would have your son as Governor come 2019.\”
Continuing, he said, \”We are in minority when it comes to other zones. I am not coming because I am from Oguta. I am coming because I am qualified, capable and have the leadership competencies to provide sound leadership.\”
He assured them of building a world-class Imo filled with endless possibilities and more dividends of democracy to the good people of Imo State.
In his entourage were Barr Chudi Onuzor Ksc (immediate past Chairman of APGA, DG-coordinator Imo Nkeanyi), Ugo Aguguam (Director of Information), Amb. I .D. Anyanwu(New Media), Mrs Irene Ibeawuchi (State Coordinator), Ekene D Adiele, Clifford Amadi, Ekemezie Wisdom, Marian U Iwuanuo, Diala Wealth Okechukwu, Chukwu Austin, I O Ojiakor, Nnajiemere Ogochukwu, Godwin Emmanuel, Hon Chikodi Ukachukwu, Chukwuma George, Johnpeters Anyanwu, Baraon Chidobi, Nzubechi I, 27 Local Government coordinators of Imo Nkeanyi and many others.
He noted his journey to Douglas House is a divine mandate and very grateful to God for this vision which is centered on the people.
Dr. Linus Okorie also commended his people for all their encouragements and assured them that they would work together for the development Oguta, Ohaji, Egbema and the whole Imo State at large.
The traditional ruler of Osse Motor, HRH Eze Franklin Cajethan Okafor, welcomed and commended Linus Okorie and his entourage for coming to the ancient city. The traditional rulers offered their royal blessings, charging all the people of Oguta to rally and support the Imo Nkeanyi Movement of Dr Linus Okorie.
