If you\’re multi-talented, but  get stuck about how to effectively manage your abilities, then this is for you.

Read on.

As a Radio & TV Presenter, Event Compere, Podcaster, Website & Graphics Designer, Diction Coach, Audio & Video Editor, Voiceover Artiste, Writer, Public Speaker, Social Media Manager & Consultant, Life Coach, Thought Leader, Serial Entrepreneur, and several others, it was hard starting out,  trial and error was the order of the day, in fact it was my first best shot. But with God\’s Grace & Wisdom, things became a lot easier.

So if you\’re willing to go down this path, here are some of my tested and trusted tips to be armed with.

1. REMOVE FROM EVERYDAY NOISE:

Creatives get easily distracted, that\’s because of how our brains are wired. Every little detail is captured.

When we don\’t get the chance to reflect, set new goals or review current ones, we might feel aimless and even doubt our abilities.

To prevent this, there\’s a need to get out of the everyday noise and revamp.

2. MANAGE TOXIC PEOPLE:

These are persons who are insecured, and they act it out in unloving ways- pure intentions or not. These souls don\’t just suck the happiness out of you, they also drain your creative power.

One of the best ways to manage toxic people is to make them friends. Even if they pick on others, they won\’t on you.

There are online courses on Dealing with Difficult People. Check them out.

Anyway, never let anyone be a demotivation.

3. RECREATE:

As a result of their efficiency, Creatives can engage in many projects. However, you must be shrewd at fixing tasks. Many services can either be postponed, delegated or even declined altogether. Get your priorities straight and have time for recreation. Don\’t wait till you burnout.

4. MASSIVELY SKILL UP:

The best project you can ever work on is You. Build and leverage on your skills set. If you have a passion for solving problems through speaking, you will need to top up your zeal by acquiring quality communication skills.

Read wide to radically expand your mindset. As I\’d always say to creatives “you\’re heavy duty, don\’t use a small engine!”

Pay for relevant seminars, and course trainings that will increase your productivity.

Hardwork sure beats talent when talent doesn\’t work hard.

5. BUILD HEALTHY AND REWARDING RELATIONSHIPS:

There are times when life hits you hard, you need someone\’s shoulders to cry on.

Someone who won\’t judge you, but console and give you prudent directions. They serve as cushion from near or total burnouts. A relative, good friend, leader, or mentor would be just fine.

Get into Communities that resonate with your key talents and skills. This ensures growth and accountability in those areas you manifest.

Lastly, give glory to the Almighty the Giver of all good things, determine to use your talent to inspire your generation, and watch your creativity shoot up like a rocket!

Remember, creativity isn\’t a burden but a gift, and it should bring about growth and fulfilment.

If you also have personal insights on managing Creativity, let\’s know in the comments section below.

Wishing you success.
