
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Obowo State House of Assembly seat in the just-concluded State Assembly elections.
The APC candidate, Rt Hon. Barr Kennedy Ibeh, emerged victorious with a total of 4256 votes, while the candidate of Labour Party had 3764 votes, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 2083 votes. While the Accord Party Candidate got 2018
The election which was conducted peacefully, had the people of Obowo comming out en masse to cast their votes for their preferred candidates. INEC officials, Domestic Observers, security were present at the polling units to ensure a free, fair, and transparent election.
The people of Obowo spoke with a loud voice by voting the Ranking member Representing Obowo State Constituency.
The reward for good work is more good work. That is why the people of Obowo expressed their confidence in Rt Hon. Ibeh’s ability to keep representing them at the State Assembly.
The APC candidate’s victory is a testament to the party’s popularity and acceptance by the people of Obowo. It also shows the level of trust and confidence the people have in the APC-led government and its ability to deliver on its promises.
