Arise Africa Award Nominee Unveiled: Ikenna Okechukw

Ikenna Okechukwu is a financial literacy advocate, educator, self mastery coach, an author, a master strategist on leadership, business and politics.

He is the Convener and lead facilitator of Bedrock Initiative, a Business Community that helps entrepreneurs and business owners improve their productivity and profitability through their regular weekend Business Breakfast Meetings.

He is also the Co-founder of Owerri Business Week, a platform that seeks to gather all business persons in Imo state for mentorship, investment discussions and networking opportunities.

His life goal is to help people lead a financially free and fulfilled life, and contribute towards making Nigeria and Africa a true stakeholder in the modern world.

He consults for several small and medium scale businesses and Startups across Nigeria as he helps them build a sustainable growth system, improve team performance and industry positioning.

Ikenna is passionate about creating institutional change in our society through political and economic transformation.

He was nominated as one of the 13 young people in Imo state to be part of the technical transition committee of the then governor elect of Imo state in 2019 where he served meritoriously under the diaspora subcommittee. He was later selected among the top 3 youths to make the final drafting team that put together the strategic working document for the governor.

He has helped so many entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and runs mentoring networks across Nigeria to assist them in their growth process.

Ikenna Okechukwu is an excellent team player who has helped many founders build the foundations of their organizations in Imo State particularly and Nigeria in General.

He is also a team lead and session host at Startupsouth, the largest gathering of startups within the south east and south region of Nigeria.

Ikenna Okechukwu is one of the leaders of Imo Ecosystem, a group that gathers founders in Imo state for the purpose of knowledge and ideas exchange, encouraging startups within the local community and promoting the state as a brand.

He is a versatile conference speaker in churches such as in Winners Chapel, Redeemed Christian Church, Assemblies of God and more.

Ikenna Okechukwu is a graduate of Chemistry from Imo State University.
