 IMO PDP TAKES STEPS
PDP seeks to  resolve the lingering intra-party crisis rocking the party in the state, the new state executive of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo state has inaugurated an 18-man reconciliation committee.
The committee is headed by a former Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Prof. Jude Njoku, just as a former deputy governorship candidate in the state, Chief Chuma Nnaji, is the secretary of the committee.
The committee is expected to resolve the lingering crises among party leaders and submit its report before the end of the year.
The state Chairman of the PDP, Mr. Babatunde Ezekwem according  to him  disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Owerri, said that the committee became inevitable in the party’s desire to reconcile all factions.
He said, “My executive is conscious of the fact that politics is teamwork. We are not ready to commit the mistakes of the past. We want to tell our foes that PDP has the capacity and the intelligence to resolve its internal differences. we are determined to present to the Imo people, a brand-new PDP with all the laudable attributes of a party run according to democratic ideals.”

THE VISION
In today\’s world, there is a quest among most young Christians to explore their talents and be identified as celebrities; but due to the non availability of a gospel music platform in Africa for self discovery, young Christians have become susceptible to the clarion call of alcoholic, sacrilegious, and lewd sexuality driven reality TV shows which leads to lots of social irresponsibility among young people in Nigeria, and Africa at Large.

It is for these reasons and many more that MFI Xquisite Koncepts Ltd., (a total production outfit specialized in public relations planning and execution, events planning/management) have come up with the Gospel Music Africa (GMA) reality TV competition.

GMA is the first of its kind and the biggest music reality competition in Africa. It is not a denominational spur, but an act towards inspiring and nurturing young, talented gospel singers in the spirit of true praise and worship, as we seek to celebrate Jesus the more.

It is a priestly obligation to herald the time for gospel singers and worshipers to be heard. We believe that through this; \”..The Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations\” of Africa. (Isaiah 61:11b)

Gospel Music Africa will present a unique contemporary innovation that will give hope, sooth hearts, and uplift God\’s royal banner in these days of uneven stress.

Gospel Music Africa will raise a generation of young people accustomed to godly values; integrity, honesty, self esteem, unity and passion for God.

Gospel Music Africa will encourage young Gospel music singers to stay in Gospel music and not abandon it for the so-called \”greener pastures\” in secular music.

Gospel Music Africa will cloud the music celebrity industry echelon with young gospel musicians that would serve as role models for the younger generation.

Gospel Music Africa would ignite the passion for a closer relationship with God, that will enable young people acquire the needed inspiration for the emancipation of African continent.

This laudable musical novelty will birth-in some level of ethical and social implications for true worshipers in Africa, because this is not just another singing competition, but also a spontaneous move to lead a re-consecration of all minds to God

In addition to the avalanche of accolades he has received, the Founder and leader of Living Christ Mission, His Grace, the Most Rev. Prof. Daddy Hezekiah recently bagged a unique Life Time Achievement Award from Nigerian Eye Newspaper and GCFN Consults.
The award was conferred on the Great philanthropist and lover of education during Imo at 40 commemorative lectures, Community Development Awards which took place at Imo Concorde hotels, Owerri. Based on his achievements of developing the state and nation in line with realization of establishing the first and government approved Private University in the state, building Nursery and Primary schools at Nkwere , Owerri , Onitsha and other places in the South East which their school fees are the lowest and the cheapest in Nigeria. The organization found the Proprietor and Chancellor of Hezekiah University worthy to receive the award.
The organizers of the occasion described  him as a Hero, Statesman, Entrepreneur and educationist  whose vision, tenacity and hard work is transforming Imo community into a better place to live, do business and raise families.
In his acceptance speech the great achiever and church primate thanked the organizers of Imo at 40 lecture and community development award for nominating him, a servant of God and a patriotic citizen of Imo State. The man of God stated that within the limit of his resources, He has contributed his quota towards the development of his state of origin and gave the Almighty God the glory that Imo State is 40 years, saying “It is the Lord’s doing and it is great”

The anointed prophet of the most High God also commended the past and present leaders of Imo State since its creation to date for their individual efforts towards bringing development, unity and progress to the state. He also thanked the good people of Imo State for remaining peaceful, united and hardworking towards ensuring the peace, development and stability of Imo State despite the hard times, hardship and suffering.
The man of God with international repute stressed that Imo state has been among the leaders in terms of development and education and all hands must be on deck to ensure that the tempo is sustained for the sake of the future generation. His Grace Most Rev. Prof Daddy Hezekiah maintained that the state is known to be the state that has produced technocrats, seasoned administrators, political heavy weights, legal luminaries and great people who have contributed in no small measured towards the development of the country today.
These achievements he said were made through investment on education, therefore he charged the people to continue to have policies that would make the youths more interested in education as an educated individual is a great asset to both the state and the country.
He revealed that on 29th November 2015 Hezekiah University the only first and only private University in Imo State kicked off. The man of God said that he built the university single handedly without local, state, federal or foreign aid. Besides, according to him, he made its tuition the lowest and rebated the fees of the first five hundred students to be admitted into it by one hundred thousand each amounting to Fifty Million Naira (N50,000,000) stressing hat he did not do that because he has so much money but he saw it as one of the ways to bring and sustain development in Imo state and South East in general.
Advising the leader, Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah charged them to be more proactive and show concern to the plight of the common masses and let them concentrate in making laws and policies that would enhance better living standards of the masses by alleviating their suffering . More importantly let live lasting legacies for which they will be remembered long after they have left the corridors of power like Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Dr M.I Okpara, Dr Sir Francis Akanu Ibiam etc and let them know that a better nae is better than Silver and gold.
Among other groups and organizations that received Award in the occasion included Hezekiah University as the first private University in the state and the cheapest in Nigeria, Nkwa Group as Gospel Music of the decade.

Portugal and Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo  emerges winner once again. CR7 seems to have winning in his DNA. Today he  defeated Antoinne Griezmann of Atletico Madrid/ France and Gareth Bale of Real Madrid/ Wales to win the prestigious UEFA best player award 2015/2016.
Cristiano Ronaldo helped Real Madrid win the Uefa champions League and was a major player as Portugal beat so many top European countries touted as favorites to win the EURO cup.
Posting a photo of him carrying the award on Instagram, he wrote \’\’Very happy and proud to win such a special award. Thank you to my team mates from Real Madrid and Portugal!

CHIMAOBI DESMOND ANYASO PROFILE –SOUTH EAST YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR AWARD WINNER AT IMO @ 40

Chima Anyaso is a native of Igbere in Bende, Abia State, Nigeria and was born in Aba Abia State, where he spent his formative years.

He is an alumnus of Ebonyi State University, from where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literature in 2003. After graduation, he worked variously at Elmline Nig Ltd., South Globe Ltd., Traqui Ltd., and Geo Bureau de Change, where he picked up valuable experience and in the process, made considerable positive impression on peers and employers alike. His stint at Aquitane Oil and Gas Ltd was particularly significant in establishing his reputation as an upwardly mobile young man of the oil sector.

By 2006, he felt sufficiently proficient in the workings of the industry to resign from Aquitane and form his own company, Caades Oil and Gas Ltd. It was an ambitious and quite risky move by any means, given his young years, but it was to prove ultimately profound and somewhat providential given the speed with which the new concern was to grow. The growth of Caades culminated quickly in the formation of Ceecon Energy Oil and Gas Ltd, which was eventually to become the flagship of his corporate fleet. In no time, Ceecon had secured a pride of place in the country’s ‘Ivy League’ of petroleum conglomerates. The company has since generated a turnover in excess of $1 billion, consulting for such international companies as Addax and Vitol and engaging with such renowned multinationals as Total, Mobil, Oando, AP, Wabeco and so on. Not surprisingly, his fecund entrepreneurial mind soon veered into new horizons. He founded SC & C Bureau de Change Ltd, which was immediately among the elite Class “A” bureau de change companies granted licenses by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2009 to address the foreign exchange inadequacies plaguing the country particularly at the time. Chimbaland Properties & Investment Co Ltd has enormous interests in Lagos real estate, especially at the up market end, while Oil Rigs Global Resources Ltd is designed as an ancillary to his petroleum sector interests.

He was awarded a Certification in Executive Management Development from the Peter J. Yobin College of Business of St. John’s University, Manhattan, New York in 2011 and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management at the University of Lagos.

Conceivably, all of these activities and engagements should leave little room for much else but however, he quite easily makes out plenty of time for philanthropy and devout Christianity. He established the Ahuoma Anyaso Education Foundation in honor of his mother and for the pursuit of quality and affordable education in the deprived rural areas. The Foundation built the first free nursery school in his hometown and has recently completed the primary education category. Being a young man himself, he is tireless in his crusade for the creation of opportunity and skills for the youths, not just in his home area but in Lagos as well.

Consequently, he has received recognition and awards for all the foregoing, to name a few, such as Award inrecognition of his contribution to Bende Clan Local Government Area in Abia State by Igbere Welfare Union Dec. 2008.

–          An Award as Ambassador of Education for South East Nigerian Students, in recognition of his outstanding and benevolent assistance to children and youths Southeastern Nigeria towards academic development – March 2010.

–          An Award of Excellence as the outstanding promoter of Education at the grass root and NYSC Programmes in Abia State and in recognition of his valuable contributions to grassroot education, NYSC Scheme and Corp Members by National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Camp Bende LGA, Abia State 2009/2010.

–          An Award of certificate of Excellence for Education and Human Capital Development by Igbere Welfare Union Dec. 2011

–          Ahuoma Anyaso Education Foundation award as an Ambassador in appreciation and recognition of his support towards the success of the school. Dec. 2011.

–          An Award as an Icon of Leadership by the Students union Government, Abia State University Uturu – Nov 2011/2012.

–          An Award in recognition of Humanitarian works to the society by Grace Kalango 56thPresident International Women’s Society – Nov. 2013.

Mr. Chima Desmond Anyaso was appointed as the Chairman South – East Coordinator for Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF) in November, 2014 and also he was selected by Vanguard Newspaper and Champion Newspaper as one the top 20 Nigerian Business Professionals in Nigeria in 2014/2015.

Recently, he was selected and appointed as the Youth Leader of the Ndi Igbo Lagos Association.

His hobbies include traveling, playing tennis, listening to music and watching football. He is a member of Ikoyi Club and is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Miles Club Association.
