Bishop Ukanwa Unveils Sir Uwandu’s Talent Hunt Trophy, Championing Youth Potential in Isi Mbano.

The Anglican Bishop of Isi Mbano Anglican Diocese Rt Revd. G.U.Ukanwa, PHD has officially unveil the prestigious trophy for the Sir Bathram Uwandu, musical Talent Hunt.

The grand unveiling formed a highlight of the Diocese’s annual Synod Week celebrations, drawing applause from clergy, community leaders, and youths.

The ceremony, which was held at St.MICHEAL’s and All Angels Anglican Church Eziama-Isiala Mbano, while the Bishop unveils the gleaming trophy, and award outstanding youths identified through a planned talent hunt initiative.

Moreso, he noted that the programme championed by Sir Bathram Uwandu, is designed to discover, encourage, and reward talented individuals in the Isi Mbano community, spanning area of music.

In his address during the unveiling, Bishop Ukanwa praised Sir Bathram Uwandu for his visionary philanthropy and deep commitment to community development. He described the talent hunt as a crucial investment in the future of the youth, providing a platform for them to showcase their God-given abilities and gain recognition that will propel them to greater heights.

In his words “this trophy is more than just silver or gold; it is a symbol of hope, a beacon of encouragement, and a challenge to our young people to rise and shine,” stated Bishop Ukanwa. “Sir Uwandu’s gesture is a confirmation to his belief that our greatest resource as a community is not buried in the ground, but resides in the minds and hands of our youth. The Diocese is proud to partner in this noble endeavour.”

Furthermore, he noted that Sir Bathram Uwandu’s Talent Hunt is expected to kick off in the coming month, with modalities for competition to be announced by the organizing committee, stating that the initiative has already generated significant excitement, with many seeing it as a transformative project that will curb youth restiveness by providing a positive and rewarding outlet for creativity and energy.

The unveiling at the Synod, a key ecclesiastical gathering, underscores the community’s and the church’s shared commitment to holistic development, blending spiritual growth with tangible empowerment opportunities for the younger generation.
