THE ORGANIZERS:

Mr and Miss Tourism Imsu is organized by Arise Afrika in collaboration with  Zillion Entertainment a  total media and promotional outfit whose services includes event planning, event management, branding, general promotions, and among other services.

 Arise Afrika  is the media arm of a non governmental and non profit oriented organization GCFN –  a movement geared towards re-engineering the mind set of Africans about sustaining themselves in their immediate communities.  An off shoot of Global Circle of Friends Network (GCFN) a community based organization founded by Anyanwu Ikechukwu in 2005.

We have been helping our youths to discover and develop their talents so as to make a positive impact in the society.

Our online news platform is used to promote social democratic values of Justice, freedom and democracy. Create a reawakening of our strong and sustainable ethical and cultural values among our youths.  Because the future lies with our youths and they need to be steered away from negative influences.

Arise Afrika seeks to develop and encourage youths to embrace their full potentials in all spheres of human endeavor and not to feel alienated by the present severe socioeconomic conditions. The youths must be challenged to recover lost values as a way forward .

Arise Afrika in partnership with Gistgate on Feb 12, 2016 organized and hosted the biggest and most transparent beauty pageant ever witnessed in Imo State University titles MOST BEAUTIFUL FACE IN IMSU total attendance was beyond 2,500 persons

Arise Afrika/GCFN  in partnership with Nigerian Eye hosted Imo At 40 Commemorative Lecture, Community Development Awards at Concorde Hotel Owerri on 18^th June, 2016

We also organized Imo Students Leadership Summit at IICC on the 20^th & 21^st September which involved the Bureau of Student Affairs Imo State Govt House, NUISS, SUG of all the Institution in the South East, Ministry of Education.
