36 State Youth Ambassadors Storm Owerri

The National Delegates of Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) stormed Owerri for A 1day LEADERSHIP SUMMIT For the 36 state youth Ambassadors of the federation.

The summit which took place at the conference hall of The new Imo concorde Hotel had the National Speaker of YAN; His youthfulness, Rt.Hon. (Amb) Samuel Godstime Chukwubuikem make his welcome address after the opening prayers as seasoned guest speakers like the YAN National Patron; Hon.Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, former Governor of Jigawa state; Dr. Saminu Turaki, the Principal officer to Imo state Governor on Job creation; Hon.Remy Chukwunenye and an Agricultural consultant; Mr.Emmanuel lectured the youth representatives on the following topics:
1. Entrepreneurship development, The solution to youth unemployment in Nigeria.
2.  Encouraging active participation of youths in Governance.
3. Need to stand against Corrupt practices.                                             4. Need for youths to embrace Agriculture.                                                        
Hon. Uche Nwosu charged the youth ambassadors to turn drivers of their own destiny to their destination… as the time to take charge is now.

The Executive Governor of Imo state; Owelle Rochas Okorocha who was honoured as MOST YOUTH FRIENDLY GOVERNOR  2015-2017 following his quest in thinking about the next generation and giant strides by ensuring that youths are not destroyed but built through his famous FREE EDUCATION PROGRAMME, attended the summit as Special Guest of honour along side his numerous business associates and political aides.

Gov. Okorocha in his words spurred the delegates to be focus, selfless, courageous and committed to every course that will make their future better and secured. He noted that YAN is taking gradual lead in all facet of youth activism and positive agitation and good strides of youth development.

\”With the calibre of young articulate intellectuals that I have seen in this summit today, it\’s obvious that YAN is the youth body for genuine youth emancipation and development, where every serious minded youth should be\”, Gov.Rochas deposited.  
                                                                                                                       His Excellency, Dr. Saminu Turaki noted that YAN\’s youth developmental activism and \”leadership wizardry\” in recent times have stood tall as second to none.                                                                   #YANimpacts
