FACE OF ARISE AFRIKA BEAUTY PAGEANT
Face Of Arise Afrika is a beauty pageant designed for young Nigerians schooling in any of the tertiary institution in Imo State. It is aimed at organizing these young beauties towards a new order of projecting Nigeria image and creating a platform for general entertainment.
The beauty pageant is set to hold for the first time in history July, 2017 to promote Nigerian rich cultural dexterity and diversity and serve as a more unifying tool for students.
The winner of the pageant shall embark on awareness campaign in a show of appreciation and given back to the community. There are arguably hundreds of thousands of students from the Tertiary Institutions in Imo State. This event shall also provide an exclusive platform for business owners who want to have a share of the very large market by seizing this unique opportunity of reaching their desired clients by way of advert which this event will attract.

This first edition is for every young woman living or schooling in IMO and is going to be a huge success.

The Unveiling of this great beauty pageant will hold at Benchmark Hotels Sat 29th April 2017 by 11am according to the press release by the organizers.
The unveiling event will witness a massive turn out of media sponsors, entertainment outfits, Students and brands that has endorsed this event.
In a brief media chat by Mr. Ikechukwu Anyanwu Founder of Arise Afrika. :
“When we began the Arise Afrika project, we had the privilege of having Dr Mrs Nneoma Dika a doctor, mother of 4 as the first Face of Arise Afrika Magazine. She adored the covers of our magazine and represented this brand well. Arise Afrika is a non government and non profit organization. It is also a movement geared towards re-engineering the mind set of Africans about sustaining themselves in their immediate communities. An off shoot of Global Circle of Friends Network (GCFN) a community based organization founded by Anyanwu Ikechukwu in 2001.
We hope to help our youths to discover and develop their talents so as to make a positive impact in the society.
We help them get the education, time and financial freedom that they desire.
Our online news platform is used as to promote social democratic values of Justice, freedom and democracy. Create a reawakening of our strong and sustainable ethical and cultural values.
The future lies with the youths and they need to be steered away from negative influences. Our nation needs to arise from the deep slumber that we have fallen into and our youths must take our own destinies in our own hands . Nigerians must cooperate with each other to build a better functioning communities through small scale industrial vocations . We must become advocates for better governance and implementation of policies that affect the society.
Arise Afrika seeks to develop and encourage youths to embrace their full potentials in all spheres of human endeavour and not to feel alienated by the present severe socio-economic conditions. The youths must be challenged to recover lost values through the same cooperative dedication and strength that must pull them out of the fangs of poverty.

At the last beauty pageant held on 15 December as part of activities for the Unveiling of Arise Afrika Magazine, Miss Concepta a 300 Level Student of Imo State University emerged winner of Face of Arise Afrika. This year 2017 will be a keen contest to see who wins the race for the crown? The path to the victory will be filled with challenges, despair and discouragement. Nevertheless, one needs to persist to get to the end.
It is not just about beauty, we are looking out for brain. We are looking for that lady who is intelligent, with integrity, nice personality and kind. We will also embark of various skill acquisition and training and empowerment programme for the contestants. Their will also be a cash prize reward, Arise Afrika Magazine Cover, Plasma Tvs, Endorsement Contracts, Red Carpets and lots more.

Furthermore in his disclosure during a press release, the Rep of All Africa Media Networks in Nigeria and Publisher of Arise Afrika Magazine emphasized that it would be a closely contested pageant.
Their will be cultural display, talent display and test questions and answers to be employed by the judges to determine the best and select the right person for Face of Arise Afrika

The Organizers believe that Face Of Arise Africa pageant will spur our students towards a new order of projecting Nigeria Image and fostering a more cordial relations through beauty pageant and entertainment.
The forms for this competition would be sold at various campuses and the secretariat located at 10 Tetlow Road Imo State after the Public Unveiling which comes up next weekend .
The response of the teeming students is unbelievable high.
