The Police Public Relations Officer, Akwa Ibom State, Odiko McDon, says the suspect have been arrested.
There was panic on Monday morning after a Vulcanizer identified as Nkere-Uta, allegedly slaughtered his wife, Bella with a machete in Mbiabam Ibiono Community, in Akwa Ibom State. According to reports gathered by IgbereTv, the deceased woman was a hard-working petty trader with five children and was said to be loved by those who knew her.
The reason for the man killing his wife is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Akwa Ibom State, Odiko McDon, confirmed the incident. He said the suspect has been arrested by Itam Division of the Nigeria Police Force.
