Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo, Ozb, Enyioha Gburu-gburu, Deputy Speaker Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly Declares for Federal House of Representatives.
Today, Friday, 23rd February, 2018, in Isiala-Umuozu, in a quiet ceremony, at the Home of Chief Eze Onyeije, the APC chairman for Umuozu ward, and in the presence of leaders from across the Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba Federal constituency, #OurManForAbuja, the Deputy Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo literally performed the foundation laying for his Green Chambers bid, by making an official declaration for the coveted seat.
In making his intentions known to his people, the young lawmaker itemized the areas of legislative concern, which he hopes to address, when he gets to Abuja, to include:
1. Education: Advancement of Human capital development through education
2. Women empowerment
3. Youth Development
4. Tackling the ecological situation in Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba.
These areas, according to Rt. Hon. Ozurigbo, will be his priority, which he intends to use the instruments of the law to address.
This declaration was received by the people as though it was long overdue, as they immediately began to raise funds and make donations to support Umuozu ward on who\’s shoulder the primary duty of projecting the candidacy of Rt. Hon. Ozurigbo lay.
