Imo State Nigeria invites all and sundry to the Imo 2018 International Carnival with the theme UNITY from the 21st to the 23rd of December, 2018.
Imo State will host Brazil, France, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, USA, South Africa, Jamaica, Ghana, UK, Barbados, Zambia and Carnival band from Calabar.
Also featuring are the Bongo night, where there will be a festival of music before you are taken back to the traditional wrestling bout on the 22nd morning at Freedom Square and later in the day same 22nd December by 4pm precisely where a new Queen will emerge at the Ada Imo Pageant.
The venue is at Imo International Conference Centre, IICC, Owerri.
The Carnival Parades comes up on the 23rd of December 2018, where the streets of Owerri will witness the samba and ramba of super exciting carnival displays before heading to the ground of the final event at Heroes Square which has been shaped to serve the very purpose of giving visitors and holiday people a tale to tell.
The likes of Flavour, Duncan Mighty, Slow Dog and fast rising local talent, Snaz Beat will be live to give a thunderous performance to the audience without missing the vibrating performance of Imo\’s notorious comedians.
