Linus Okorie would on Friday 28th December launch the 2019 Governorship campaign of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) at Nkwo-Egbu Egbuoma Oguta Local Government  Imo State.

The flag off signals the commencement of the YPP campaign rallies for the 2019 Imo Governorship elections  ‘Prosperity 2019\’

The Deputy Director Media & Publicity , I. D Anyanwu said that the campaign flag off would be attended by the National Leader and  Presidential Candidate of YPP;  Professor Kingsley Moghalu; the party’s National Chairman: Comr. Bishop E. Amakiri,  members of the National Working Committee (NWC) ,  Chairman of Imo Nkeanyi – Sir (Barr) Chudi Onuzor,  Imo state Chairman of YPP -Hon Victor Diala, Chief Martin Nwosu JP, Hon Mbato Clement, Hon Amb Chika Uju, Comr Nwaru Jude O.U, Hon Damian Ogu,  Iwueke Vitalis, Engr Anthony Ogy, and other prominent leaders of the party, Imo State House of  Assembly Aspirants, and  members of  Imo Nkeanyi movement.

Anyanwu said the Imo Frontline Governorship Candidate, Linus Okorie would use the occasion to share his manifesto and blue print to transform Imo.

He added that the leadership expert and  Guber candidate of YPP would outline his vision and programmes for Imo for the next four years and how he intend to build a world class Imo filled with endless possibilities.

It is important to note that Young Progressive party was formed to build an egalitarian society anchored on Nigerian citizens as the prime resource, driven by mentally progressive and young innovative leaders .

Faced with the tragic consequences of poverty and underdevelopment, YPP seek to transform the Nigerian economy and society

The party is fast becoming a force to be reconned with from National to state level and has the masses in total support for a paradigm shift.
