He said:
\”After several years of exorbitant rent from shylock landlords amidst security threat especially to our female students, we’re glad to inform newly admitted students of our great institution, parents and the general public that Imo State University residential hostel (Male and Female) which is well equipped with modern facilities is now ready for use.
Privileged information from the University management states that the female hostel would be allocated to newly admitted students immediately after the lingering ASUU strike while that of male would be on rent ‘March’ later this year. All thanks to our ever caring and compassionate Vice Chancellor Prof. (Mrs.) Victoria Adaobi Obasi alongside the digital Dean of student affairs Prof. Martins Uchenna and endless list of other critical stakeholders for heeding to the long cry of students over the years with an intervention of such magnitude. \”
