The honourable member representing Ihitte Uboma state constituency in the state house of assembly, Honourable Michael Crown Njoku has proposed the Imo state fire service bureau amendment law. The bill is proposed to introduce 27 fire sub stations in Imo State and 3-regional sub stations in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe. The essence of this bill is to put a stop to insesant fire outbreaks that has ravaged so many families, houses and companies in Imo communities and cities.
Addressing newsmen immediately after the presentation, the vibrant Lawmaker stated this law will be one of the best thing that will happen to Imo State as it is in line with his campaign promises. The bill which has passed first reading is expected to create more job opportunities and generate money for the state.
The youngest lawmaker immediately received encomium from other house members citing it as a welcome development. Indeed the youths are representing.
