Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and called for us to reach out to less privileged in the society, a healthy Nigeria and world at large
The former Chief of Staff, Imo State Government House and Imo Governorship Candidate, Hon. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, in a statement on his social media noted;
“This year\’s Eid Fitri celebration may not be as elaborate as a lot of us would have wished, because of the Covid-19 outbreak across the world, which has forced us to live like we are not used to.\”
\” However, while maintaining social distancing, we must not fail to reach out to the less privileged ones among us, for charity is a central theme of Eid and this pandemic must not stop us from showing love to one another.
\”It is my earnest prayer that the fasting of faithful Muslims across the world shall be acceptable unto Almighty God, and He will grant our wishes for a peaceful, healthy Nigeria and the world at large.
I wish my Muslim friends a joyful and peaceful Eid Celebration.\”
He stressed that with determination, unity and trust in God, our nation will definitely overcome all her challenges and once again stand tall among the comity of nations.
Nwosu congratulated the Muslim community and prayed for successful Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
