Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha Hosts 2020 Annual Christmas Cantata and Festival of Songs.
The Annual Christmas Cantata and Festival of Songs hosted by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, holds this year, with the theme: \”We are more than Conquerors\”, – Text: Romans 8: 37.
This year’s event, in line with the prevailing global health and safety conditions and consistent with His Excellency’s adherence to rule of law, and in compliance with NCDC’s advice on Christmas Carols, shall be held virtually with only the participating choral groups and clergy being physically present at the venue.
Rt. Hon Ihedioha has consistently hosted the Christmas Cantata and Festival of Songs to usher in Christmas on the eve of Christmas Day for over a decade. Over these years the Cantata has remained one of the inter-denominational spiritual events that afford Christians a dedicated time of fellowship with God through renditions of gospel music by various choral groups.

It is also expected that for the few guests that will be physically present at the venue, all COVID-19 protocols shall be observed while other guests are requested to be part of the event, virtually as the event shall be broadcast live on social media channels/ platforms mentioned above.
As much as His Excellency would wish the physical presence of his guests from across the state and country at large, the gap shall be filled with the wider participation the social media platforms shall avail viewers across the globe. The full video of the event will also be uploaded on Youtube for the public.
Noteworthy, that the health and safety of our people remain paramount to His Excellency especially as the Federal Government has again alerted of a second wave of COVID-19.
More importantly, fixation is demanded on the Reason for the Season – The birth of Jesus Christ, Savior of the World.
His Excellency and his family warmly enjoin Christians to join the Cantata on the various online platforms as he wishes Imolites and Nigerians in general, a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
