Umuogbohoro on 1st January 2020 lifted the much coveted trophy 🏆 football tournament tagged KGO Unity Cup competition which held at Community Primary School Umunachi, Obowo Imo State
The matches were played earlier the month of December with Kick-off on 20th December, 2020 performed by Rt. Hon. Barr. Kennedy Ibeh.
Dcn. Chike Okafor handled the kick off for the Grand Finale on 1st January, 2021 and commended the organizers for putting up the competition
The football tournament which was Sponsored by Barr. Kelechi Onyegbulea had the final between with Umuokwelam and Umuogbohoro emerging finalist.
It was a dramatic display as both teams lost scoring several chances before Umuogbohoro fired home the first and only decisive goal during the first half
The match ended 1 –0 win against Unuokwelawom.
Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Ibeh who promised to give a cash Reward for each goal scored at the tournament handed cash prize and also rewarded the runners up. He encouraged the youths to shun crime and harness their talents. He promised to continuously support and encourage them
The football tournament is aimed at developing talents for a greater football career. One person was listed to be sent to Europe yesterday for football career development.
In a statement on his social media, Barr Onyegbule said;

It was a successful outing as we remain committed to developing and harnessing talents through a deliberate sourcing of raw skills amongst our youths in the local areas.

Kennedy Ibeh for doing me the honor of Kick-off of the tournament on the 20th December, 2020 and also being there for us at all the stages of the tournament. You have been so amazing sir.\”
