Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri, member representing Oru East in Imo State House of Assembly, has played host to traditional rulers and stakeholders of his constituency.
The gathering was targeted at charting way forward for the development of the Local Government, especially in areas of amenities and security.
The meeting held in his Amiri country home recorded the presence of Oru East Ndi Eze\’s led by Eze Ngozi Uzodinma, Transtition Chairman Oru East LGA Nze Nyererre Ogbonna and the IMC members, Elder Aloy Nnawugo ( SA on Disporral Europe and Asia), Hon Ifeanyi Oru ( SA on Rural Development) and Hon Celestine Nnamdi Onyeaka (PG of the Oil Kingdom) and other notable LGA stakeholders.
Hon. Chigozie during his speech, said the meeting would address challenging issues before the Constituency. Construtions of bad roads network in Amiri, Awo-Omamma and other places will commence very soon, according to him. He also stated that Classroom blocks will be built in all the wards through the SUBEB and three major markets will be structured into standard ( Afor Awo-Omamma, Orie Omuma and Afor Akatta) in short distance time. Hon. Chigozie told the Traditional Rulers that the process of their entitlements from ISOPADEC and Oil companies have commence and soon ISOPADEC will start their projects in the constituency. Nze Nyererre Ogbonna thanked Hon. Nwaneri for calling such a meeting and commend him for his contribution in the development of the area.
