WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
My name is Chima Kafor and I am from Umuoke, Obowo. I am an Engineer and businessman with a deep interest in public service, especially political representation.
WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FOR IMHA?
To make a direct impact in the lives of my people, I am offering myself for the office of Member representing Obowo Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly. Obowo needs a strong, credible voice at this time in our political life — and I am ready to be that voice.
The State House of Assembly is not a charity platform, as some portray it. It is a legislative office that gives us the power to speak for our people, to hold government accountable, and to attract partnerships with relevant institutions for the development and growth of Obowo.
While I will continue my humanitarian work through the Chima Kafor Love Foundation I am clear that my purpose for aspiring is to be vocal on the floor of the House. I will raise fundamental issues affecting us as a people — including the devastation in Nnachioma, the deadlock at Ndundu, the plight of elderly citizens who once served in public service, and many more challenges I will make public in the course of this journey.
Obowians will get it right in the State Assembly with my voice as a legislator.
