St. Mulumba Catholic Church Owerri Municipality on Sunday honoured the Chairman of Bashlyks Sports House And Events, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena a.k.a Bash with the award of Ezi Enyi.
The ceremony which took place at the church premises located along Wetheral Road Owerri immediately after the 10.00 O\’Clock Mass, was presided over by the Parish Priest, Rev.Fr.(Brig. Gen.) Raymond Kojo Madu.
It was part of the activities to mark this years\’ Father\’s Celebration by the Christian Men Organization (CMO) of St. Mulumba Parish.
Many other dignitaries graced the occasion both as parishioners and guests/ awardees including the Honourable member representing Owerri Municipal in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Anukam who was representatives.
In his address, the CMO President, thanked all the awardees who were selected based on their support to the church and to mankind.
Bash who is a former Chairman of Heartland Football Club of Owerri thanked both the priests and the laity for the recognition of his person and also urged to continue to pray for the return of peace and normalcy in the entire state.
