SAYS; “OTHER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES SHOULD STEP DOWN FOR OBI”
The Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party for Imo West Senatorial District, Charles Ugochukwu Ahize has assured that the presidential candidate of the Party will win more than 90% of votes from Orlu zone in the coming election.
Speaking to a group of youths and campaign staff in his campaign office in Nkwere, Chief Ahize argued that Peter Obi has left no one in doubt about his competence and character, and stands tallest among all the presidential candidates at the moment.
“The Labour Party has presented Nigerians with the best presidential candidate at the moment. There is none of the candidates who comes anyway close to him in the area of character, temperament, integrity and competence for the job. This is why I am sure that Peter Obi will not only win this election, but he will win with a landslide. He should get more than 90% of the votes in Orlu zone and if Nigerians are truly ready to take the next leap forward, then, I do not see how Peter Obi will not win the election with more than 70% of votes cast.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a matter of tribe, religion or even political Party affiliation, but about the candidate with the best antecedents and who holds the best promise to transform our dear country. I think this is the best time for us to take our fate in our own hands by voting the man with the passion and experience to turn things around for the good of all Nigerians.”
Meantime, the Director-general of the Orlu Recovery Project and former member representing Ideato North in the House of Assembly, Chief C.C Ubah has reassured the people of Imo West of Charles Ahize’s determination to rewrite the situation for the best, and urge them to turn out en masse to vote for the Labour Party candidate on Saturday.
“Charles Ahize is passionate about the development of Orlu zone and he will not disappoint when he is elected to the Senate by 25th of this month. I am sure that Orlu people know what they want, and there is currently no better candidate in the race than Charles Ahize and he will do us proud when he gets to the Red Chambers.”
