It is a common knowledge that a woman’s wedding day is one of the happiest day of her life.
So it was for Miss Nneoma Anyanwu on Tuesday 26th December 2023 as Obowo stood still for her glorious wedding.
It was a celebration of love indeed. The journey which began at Houston Texas, takes a turn back home as the two love birds tie the knot in grand style at the traditional marriage.
Both the groom and bride’s families were in rosy mood with beehive of activities during the Grand traditional wedding ceremony
Okenalogho Sec School Umuokeh, Obowo Imo State. The venue of the much expected traditional wedding ceremony between Nnadozie and Nneoma Anyanwu was a carnival of sorts. As family, friends and well wishers were all present to witness the epoch making event.
The beautiful bride and her ashoebi came out twice with a tastefully executed dance steps.
First to welcome their visitors and later the traditional search by the bride to locate and take her husband to her father; Chief Emeka Anyanwu for the traditional blessings to the admiration of all.
In an expression of sincere love for the beautiful Nneoma, Nnadozie held her hands firmly as they cut the cake to the admiration of friends and relatives.
26th December 2023 would continue to linger in the memory of guests and relatives who thronged to witness the event.
Nneoma is the daughter of Chief Emeka Anyanwu while Nnadozie is the son of Professor Okeke and Dr Barr Lilian Okeke
It therefore did not come as a surprise that the wedding pulled distinguished personalities and so much crowd to witness the glorious wedding despite the festive period and distance.

The colourful event boasted of first class service and was anchored by Chief Imo
Speaking after the ceremony, the couple expressed their sincere gratitude to all those who honoured the invitation
