Discussion on Regional Trade Bottlenecks Holds In Ghana

    Come June 13, 2024 a contingent from Nigeria’s National Assembly is expected to speak and join the discourse at the 15th Anniversary at the British Council Auditorium in Ghana on the theme, “Trade Conundrum, Expanding the Understanding of the ECOWAS Module for Prosperity in Sub Saharan Africa.

    Osita Izunaso, a member of the Nigerian Parliament to ECOWAS is expected as a keynote speaker. The House Committee Chairman on Diaspora Affairs at the Federal House of Representatives, Nigeria; Tochukwu Okere, assured the event organizers of his presence as he considers matters that adversely affect Nigerians in Diaspora as an added responsibility to his role.

    Another lawmaker, Hon Dcn Chike Okafor is also expected as a Guest Speaker and discussant to help in throwing more insights into the discourse.

    Former Speaker Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Ibeh, Dr Tony Offiah are among the dignitaries expected.

    The editorial board of Nigerian Eye Newspaper has extended an Invitation to the secretariat of the Africa Free Trade Continental Area in Accra, Ghana EXIM Bank, the office of the Resident Commissioner of ECOWAS in Ghana, Africa Development Bank as well as members of the Ghanaian Parliament like Abla Dzifa Gomashie and Koffi Adams.
