Today, we celebrate a visionary whose dreams, passion, and dedication paved the way for @GetBundi and @Doballi.

In 2019, Osita Oparaugo saw something differently. The World Bank said that by 2030, Africa will have about 477 million people between the ages of 17 and 35. Africa rejoiced.

Barr Osita Oparaugo said that this number means nothing if they do not possess the digital skill sets that drive the modern economy. Therefore, we must set up @getbundi to reskill and upskill African youths to be competitive in the digital landscape.

Through GetBundi, a digital literacy framework was developed for Africa in eight competency areas. This framework is gaining traction across Africa.

With COVID-19 being a powerful catalyst for the widespread adoption of remote work, global employers said hiring from Africa, especially tech talents, is a hit or miss. @Osita Oparaugo said we could build something to solve this pain point problem by digitizing technical assessments.

We developed Doballi, an AI-enabled remote job recruitment platform that connects rigorously tested and expertly vetted African tech talents ready to work across all time zones to global opportunities.

Doballi’s strategic innovation license from Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and subsequent registration as a Dubai-based company were pivotal in showcasing African tech talents.

His leadership is a beacon, inspiring us to envision grander goals, construct superior solutions, and strive for excellence daily.

His influence is profound. He is an enigmatic figure, a guiding mentor, a tenacious problem-solver, and a staunch advocate for African youth and technology’s transformative power.

Happy birthday to the Spirit of Africa! Thank you for daring to dream and embarking on this remarkable journey.
