Linus Okorie – A world-class Leadership expert picks up expression of interest and nomination form for Imo Guber under the platform of Young Progressive Party (YPP)
Linus Okorie is a Frontline Gubernatorial aspirant in IMO State. Dr Linus Okorie picked the party gubernatorial expression of interest and nomination form on Friday 7th September 2019.
In a statement on his social media handle, Linus Okorie revealed that the next phase for journey to Douglas House begins. As he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by him through out this journey.
The Young Progressives Party(YPP) head office at Abuja witnessed a massive crowd as Imolites and elites from all over the Country, showing support for the candidature of Dr Linus Okorie as the Man for the number one seat in IMO State, filled every nook and cranny of it. Traditional dancers, music and chants filled the space as the experienced leadership coach majestically stepped into the Party office with his team to pick up the gubernatorial nomination form.
Dr Linus Okorie has orchestrated the highest form of consistency as he takes it up a notch by taking the required legal step to contest for the gubernatorial seat in IMO.
This is also a pointer to how eager, Dr Linus Okorie is to bring onboard his years of experience as a leadership coach and expert to model leadership in Imo, Nigeria, and Africa.
He has proven beyond doubt that he is more than ready to take his State to the desired level by his experience and impact in the Nigerian leadership space as he clinches the gubernatorial form ahead of the Party Primaries on Saturday the 15th of September, 2018 and general elections in 2019.

He attended Government Secondary School, Owerri, Imo State where he became the Senior Prefect of his school. He is a graduate of History and International Relations at Imo State University where he served as the first elected Students Union Government President and later did his National Youth Service with the National Assembly, Abuja after which he proceeded to carry out a research in his area of passion: “Leadership Development” at the Lagos Business School. Linus Okorie has a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, Virginia Beach, USA. He is an alumnus of the International Visitors Program (IVLP) sponsored by the US government under the Department of State – a programme which has produced 300 presidents of various countries since its inception. Linus Okorie is also an alumnus of the Executive Leadership Education programme of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Boston, USA with a certification in The Act and Practice of Leadership Development.
