Chukwuemeka John-Okafor of Mountain Crest Schools has emerged winner of the MyRadio 101.1 FM Democracy Day Essay Competition.
The 13 year old outclassed over 50 other contestants to clinch the One Hundred Thousand Naira Cash Prize.
The keenly contested essay competition was adjudicated by a panel of three educators headed by Mrs Vicky Emereonye, Principal, Secondary School Uzoagba.
Secondary School students in Imo were asked to write a 5 paragraph essay outlining what they understood by the 3R government of Sen. Hope Uzodinma.
To authenticate their submissions, finalists were subjected to practical assessment after which John-Okafor emerged winner.
The MyRadio 101.1 FM Democracy Day Essay Competition was sponsored by the Imo State Ministry of Information & Strategy.
