BACK TO SCHOOL GIVING BACK OUTREACH: A PROJECT BY ERIC CARES FOUNDATION.
It was moments filled with joy on july 1st 2023 as Eric Cares Foundation stormed Omuma in oru east for the BACK TO SCHOOL giving back outreach program for primary school pupils and secondary school students.
BACK TO SCHOOL giving back outreach is a program by Eric Cares Foundation designed to assist the less privileged children in our community schools.
Under the visionary leadership of Hon Eric Uwakwe (JP), the foundation was able to distribute hundreds of materials such as school bags, exercise books, water bottles and scholarships to various students from the following schools in Oru East LGA:
1. Ozuh Omuma Community Primary School
2. Omuma Technical School School
3. Divine Favour Secondary School
4. Akatta Secondary School
5. Uche Secondary School
6. Amiri Secondary School.
In Addition, Hon Eric Uwakwe who serves in the capacity of the director of Eric Cares Foundation, Special Adviser To Imo State Governor On Youth Affairs and the director general of the apex youth structure in Imo State known as the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM) narrated how he was raised by a man who he described as a visionary and selfless leader, in the person of His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma
He described him as a man who’s passion is to see the young people flourish with ease in their various gifts and skill sets hence his commitment to youth development and the creation of programs targeted at impacting the lives of Imo youths.
He narrated that this initiative was inspired by the impacts of the governor on him both personally and to Imo Youths In General
Also in his company was the sole administrator of Oru East Lga, Hon Nze Celestine Nnamdi Onyewka who commended the visionary leadership of the foundation and selflessly creating such an impactful program for the students in the rural communities
The Chairman of The Parent Teachers Association Expressed Gratitude And Thanked Hon Eric Uwakwe for being thoughtful and urged him to remain relentless and committed to his beliefs
Hon Eric Uwakwe encouraged the parents and Teachers of the schools to support the re-election of Shared Prosperity Government of Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma who has demonstrated competent and excellent leadership which the entirety of Imo State can attest to
He went ahead to mention a few of the achievements of the Governor on the state which includes: drastically curbing of insecurity, construction of Owerri-Umuahia Road, Okigwe Road AND Orlu Road, the Skill Up Imo Project that has seen to the training and empowerment of over Twenty Thousand Imo Youths, The Empowerment of fifteen thousand imo youths with Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000) seed capital for small scale businesses, the introduction of the imo social security benefit number etc.
He emphasized that the reelection of Dist. Senator Hope Uzodimma will further open up IMO TO THE WORLD and attract foreign investors there creating more opportunities for our people.
Hon Eric Uwakwe thanked the leadership of the schools abd encouraged them to keep up with their selfless service of impacting knowledge to the students of their various schools.
