The member representing the good people of Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, and Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, Ph.D, has felicitated the Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Sen. Dr. Hope Uzodimma on the occasion of his 66th birthday commemoration, describing him as a great leader who has shown capacity, tenacity and sagacity in all aspects of developmental leadership.

The federal lawmaker is particularly happy that Governor Uzodimma has been able to show effective leadership, which has led to the sterling achievements currently witnessed across the 27 LGAs of the state.

He pointed out that the 66th birthday celebration of the Governor is coming at a time when the people are full of gratitude to the Governor for ensuring that peace returned to the State, which, he said, has greatly improved on the economic activities of the state.

Deacon Okafor further pointed out that the civil servants are happy with the Governor for his decision to pay 13th month salary , which he has done, consistently, since he assuned office, and as well, approving N70k minimum wage, adding that the people would continue to be grateful to God for the various impactful achievements of the Governor.

He joins well meaning individuals, family, friends, and the heavenly hosts to celebrate, as well as wish our amiable Governor a happy 66th birthday celebration.

Hon. Okafor, as well congratulates the Governor on the Honorary Doctorate Degree bestowed on him the Vice Chancellor and Governing council of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), which reaffirms the wide acceptance and visibility of his giant strides and human capital cum infrastructural development in the State.
