-As Ohaji/Egbema Indigenes visit Owelle-

On February 26,2018,Deputy Chief of staff to the Governor of Imo state,Hon Uju Kingsley Chima alongside the people of Ohaji Egbema LGA stormed Government House to express profound gratitude  to the Governor  for ensuring sustainable peace in the oil rich Kingdom.

Speaking, the TC Chairman of the area, Hon. Amadi Ebenezer added that, they came to thank the governor for approving the establishment of Egbema college of Education,Obokofia, emphasizing that, his people are indeed grateful.

On the 2019 Guber elections in the state, Amadi, on behalf of the good people of Ohaji/Egbema presented to the governor a signed list of APC executives, including ward chairmen of all the wards in Ohaji/Egbema who have unanimously adopted  the Chief of Staff,  Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as their sole governorship candidate.

Responding,His Excellency Rochas Okorocha maintained that, who ever will emerge the Governor of Imo state must continue in moving the state forward to ensure the state competes favourably in infrastructural development in the country.

Speaking to the group, He said:
\”You people are not the first LGA that came here clamouring for Uche Nwosu to become Governor. Several others have come.

I have 3 children that are capable and all my children are  important to me.
I will listen to your request and will tell my deputy to go for Senate, Chike to go for Federal House.
If we have this team in Imo State, it would be helpful.
I myself, i didnt want to run election again. My mind and eyes is set to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
But because there is a man that i have been campaining for all this while his name is President Buhari and he is on seat. I want him to finish his second tenure. He is a man that i have respect for. I would not run against him.
I have looked and if i dont join hands in this great project. ..\”ndi omeko ome. Ga abia buru umu m\”

Concerning Senate,
If i dont go for senate, bad people
will. Therefore I will run for Orlu Senator.

Ndewonu.

If my name enters the ballot paper, it would help President Buhari and Apc to win.

Everyone that is running at Orlu came and said \”Owelle, if you are running, I would not run. There is no need to throw away my money\”
This is an honour done to me.

The best thing that you can do for me is for all of you to go and  get registered.\”
